Los Angeles-based creative life partners Maria Gonima and Greg Pritchard are Warrior Line. Hailing from musical pedigrees that comfortably mix sweaty basement shows and all-night dance parties, they bridge the discordant guitar sounds of Manchester with mechanical drums inspired by Detroit techno. Embracing technology and looking boldly into the future, they’re unapologetic maximalists: layers of sequenced synths, ominous percussion and Maria’s clear and present voice all find a home in their densely packed yet shimmering sound. Their debut EP will be released by Tigerbeat6 Records in February 2012.
